Day Four

Been out and spent a fortune this weekend

Shock absorbers (all round)
Front window screen rubber
Window fillers for front and rear
Door seals
Brake hoses all round
Front brake pads

Had to cut out the rear jacking point, had about 4/5 patches upon patches, with rust inbetween.

Drivers side footwell cut out - several patches in that too. (Most not welded to each other?)

Passenger footwell has been welded up and fixed.

Fixed under the jacking point and the hole in the floor.

Big Thanks to John for doing the welding, and to Connie for sorting the wiring loom out!

Day Three

Fitted new upper and lower bump stops, got the steering column out, have taken the rear mounts off ready to be replaced with poly, and the teardrops.

Oh, and we cut some more holes and tipped the rusty one on to his side.

This has all been cut now and ready to go.

Floor not welded to the sill when repaired.

Day Two - FAIL

Welding over old sills without cutting the rotten ones out = FAIL.
Fillering holes in inner sill = FAIL.

Cut a fair bit of it out, need to get it up on it's side and cut out a bit more and then weld new stuff in!

Sourced: 1

Picked up a drivers door yesterday and some arches.

Need some fibreglasses on the arches, but hopefully I'll be able to get them looking respectable without too much hassle.

Undecided wether to paint the door or wether to leave it the colour it came in, was going to reskin but the crease is so minor I don't think there is much point.

Total Spent:

£50 - Shell with V5
£10 - Drivers Door
£5 - Arches
